Handmade Soaps and Toiletries
Not tested on animals - Just family and friends

Natural, simple affordable, customized - beautiful

Hi, my name is Elke Clauberg-Sheehy and I established Enniskerry Essentials in 2002
for the purpose of crafting handmade soap and toiletries that are free from artificial
colourings and preservatives, as well as providing both lifestyle and income in a

sustainable way.

Those who visit my site regularly will find it a little odd that I've done away with the "we-business".
But as you know - when it comes down to it, the business is me, myself and I.

Surely, if the going gets tough, I can always call on my family to help out.

My,  and therefore the Enniskerry Essentials’ philosophy is: “natural ingredients

Always close bottles, tubes and pots well, because contact with air will help oxidization and the product might become rancid. If your cream comes in pots, try to use a little spatula if possible, but at least make sure that your hands are very clean, in order to avoid contamination.  Trust your nose: sometimes a little oil separates in a cream, but this does not necessarily mean that it has gone off. A cream or lotion that’s gone off, smells gone off.  Don’t “stock up” on natural creams and cosmetics. Use one or two (daycream/nightcream) at a time. This way you make sure that the products you are using are always fresh. Freshly made natural cosmetics are something very luxuriou
